Change Your Password and/or Security Code
The change password page allows you to change the password you use to access the provider portal. In order to do so you will need to re-enter your
current password and then supply your new chosen password.
To comply with Hertfordshire County Council's security requirements, your password must:
Be at least 9 characters long
Contain at least 2 non-alphabetic characters
Not have been previously used to access the Provider Portal
Password changes take immediate effect and you can change your password at any time by clicking on the Change Password
icon from the Homepage or by clicking here.
The Hertfordshire Provider Portal uses two stage security which means in addition to your password, you will also need to select
a security code when first logging into the portal. After entering your password, you will be prompted to enter two digits from your chosen security code.
Your chosen security code must :
Be six digits long
Consist only of numbers 0-9
Be different from the previous security code used
Not have the same digit appearing more than four times
Not contain sequences of more than three consecutive digits up or down (e.g. security codes containing 1234 or 4321 are not allowed)
As with your password, you can change your security code at any time by clicking on the Change Security Code icon from the homepage or clicking here.
